Removing Your Gel Nail Polish At Home
1. File It
You have sat in their chair for how many years? You are already a pro, we’re just giving you the tips to prove it to yourself. File down that top sealed layer of your gel polish to reveal a rough and unpleasant looking surface.
YOU GOT THIS!
2. Now Soak
Grab cotton balls and soak them in acetone, you want these to sit on each nail and make sure it is fully saturated. [This is the part when some salons have your hand dipped in solution or when they wrap each finger tip up. Look familiar?] Once you apply a soaked cotton ball, wrap that fingertip in foil to try and keep it in its place.
Set Alexa to a 15 minute timer.
3. Easy Does It Removal
Test the first nail you set with the cotton ball soak. Try removing with another go with the file or the corner of your nail clippers. Easy does it is key here. Do not force the removal or you will chance damaging your nail bed. If the removal is still difficult set a timer for an additional 5 minutes before trying again.
4. The Finale
Buff your nails to perfection. Apply coconut oil and massage all around your nail bed and wash with warm soapy water.
Beauty-scaping Your Eyebrows
1. Warm It Up
Before you tweeze we like to open our follicle post hot shower or by warming up a damp cloth and applying directly to one eyebrow at a time. This takes away an abrupt pull and allows for an easier removal.
2. Avoid The Over Done
If this is your first go at your own eyebrows, less is more. Find your current shape and keep in mind this is not taking the place of your favorite threader but to keep the unwanted hairs in check! You can fill in your eyebrows or brush them in your happy place. This will highlight the areas that are starting to over-grow and creates a roadmap to your beauty-scaping
3. Gently Remove
Now that you’re well mapped out and warmed up remove the hairs that you want to eliminate. For extra insurance let some unwanted hairs live around your current shape to ensure you don’t over-pull.
4. Soothe
Apply aloe vera gel or witch hazel to soothe the tweezed area and to close the follicle again.
Hair Salon Treatment At Home
1. Indulge
This is one of our favorite add ons at the salon. The moment you’re offered a conditioning treatment to repair damage, dry, dull-looking ends can be fully transformed at home!
2. Prep
Shampoo your hair two times for a thorough cleanse. For those suffering from dry itchy scalp [dandruff] DIY scalp scrubs for the win!
Simply take your CBD hair oil and pour a tablespoon into a small bowl or cup and add a few turns of Himalayan sea salt and a dash of old fashion sugar. To invigorate blood flow you can also add a turn of fresh ground pepper! Now add three pumps of shampoo in the mix and gently scrub your scalp. Rinse thoroughly.
( create an anti-viral mask by adding coconut oil to your scrub )
Shampoo once more for a clean slate.
3. Towel Dry
Conditioning treatments are not tricky they just require a few industry tricks. Towel drying your hair is one of them to remove excess water for higher concentration of the treatment itself.
4. Oil Up
Apply a generous amount of CBD hair oil mid-strand through your ends. It won’t feel like there’s “enough” because your hair is wet, but trust us, it’s in there!
5. Apply Your Mask
Don’t rinse your oil. Instead layer your moistened, oiled ends with our Instant Repair Hair Mask and let this sit on for 5-10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm or if you’re a shower gangster, cold water.
Plump Your Lips Without The Syringe
1. Make your Scrub potion

3. Hydrate
Grab your favorite lip moisturizer and apply to your plump juicy lips!

This one is just a wellness bonus!

Making your own hand sanitizer is easy to do and only requires a few ingredients:
- isopropyl or rubbing alcohol (99 percent alcohol volume)
- aloe vera gel
- an essential oil, such as tea tree oil or lavender oil, or you can use lemon juice instead
The key to making an effective, germ-busting hand sanitizer is to stick to a 2:1 proportion of alcohol to aloe vera. This keeps the alcohol content around 60 percent. This is the minimum amount needed to kill most germs
